Ego-centric Marketing
I continually come across small business owners marketing 'about themselves' not thier prospect. A perfect example of this is the 'Under New Management' sign.

Don't you think there's some value to the "Under New Management" sign though? I mean, if you take over a business that's had some bad customer service, it might be nice to advertise the fact that now you control that and you can make a better impression. This is kind of the point of the "UNM" sign, isn't it?
